Breif introduction:

This Railway / Railroad Bogie Truck 3-Piece Wagon Bogie 1000 mm Gauge is applied for Southeast Asia countries, whose railway is meter gauge. We develop this type of bogies for customer to build new railway flat wagons. This type bogie is designed and manufactured strictly complied with customer’s existing bogies and could realize maintenance and replacement of the whole bogie or some of the main components.

This meter gauge bogie adopts three-piece ride control structure by using control type wedge damping device, and is mainly comprised of wheel set assembly, bolster assembly, side frame assembly, roller bearing assembling, adapter, brake rigging, load spring, wedge and damping device, bogie side bearing assembly and etc. The bogie’s performance meets the Evaluation requirements of GB/T5599 and its Intensity design comply with the regulations of TB/T1335.

Bogie, also named truck in North America, is one of the most important components in the structure of railway wagons. The main functions are as follows:

• Increase the wagon's load, length, and volume, and improve the speed of the train wagons to meet the needs of railway freight transportation;

• Connected by center plate pivot, the wagon body and the wheels are reliably connected and fixed by the bogie frame;

• Transfer the locomotive longitude traction force into wheels rolling movement through the axle bearing device;

• Support the vehicle body, bear and transmit various loads and forces from the vehicle body to the wheel, or reversely from the wheel rail to the vehice body, and evenly distribute the axle load;

• Ensure the safe operation of the vehicle, flexibly run along the straight line and smoothly pass through the curve;

• The structure of bogie shall faciitate the installation of spring damping device and make it have good damping characteristics, so as to alleviate the interaction between vehicle and line, reduce vibration and impact, reduce dynamic stress and improve the stability and safety of vehicle operation;

• Make full use of the adhesion between wheel and rail to transfer traction and braking force, and amplify the braking force generated by the brake cylinder to make the vehicle have good braking effect, so as to ensure parking within the specified distance.

• Bogie is an independent component of the vehicle, and the connection between bogie and vehicle body shall be reduced as much as possible.
