KZ70 70 tons heavy load hopper car is designed based on the principle of high level, high starting point and fully meeting the requirements of users. The hopper car body, braking device, coupler buffer device, ballast unloading system and bogies all adopt the advanced, mature, economic, applicable and reliable technologies of domestic new railway vehicles and new high-strength corrosion-resistant materials. It has the advantages of high strength, heavy load, strong corrosion resistance, long maintenance cycle, low maintenance cost and low operation cost.
KZ70 hopper car inherits the excellent performance of K13 ballast hopper car in design and structure. The main bearing parts of the car body adopt high-strength weathering steel with yield strength of 450MPa and special cold-formed steel. The side column adopts hyperboloid U-shaped cold-formed steel, which improves the stiffness, strength and service reliability of the side wall. The vehicle weight is 70t and the axle weight is 23t. Bogies are K6 or K5 three-piece casting bogies.
